Halloween (Pepitown) 2022 Event Swap Shop Guide
Hallow everyone! Figured to try and improve the Swap Shop Guide this time, so there are a few changes throughout. Please feel free to leave feedback in the comments below! (ESPECIALLY if the colors are difficult to read for anyone. I will continue to work on this if anyone has an issue until I know everyone can read it with ease!)
February 2nd: - Created this Guide. There isn't an Update for this Event, so instead please feel free to leave feedback on how this is made. I am just trying some new things out.
Pumpkin Lantern Swap Shop -
To make things easier, I have also condensed this table into just the different "Values".
\"Value\" is subjective to the needs of the Player, but anything 5/5 and most 4/5 will be needed by all Players without thought.
tl;dr - This Event is extremely basic with only about a week to grind for anything you intend to purchase. Please take a little break after the pressure that was the FFBE Event, but we already have to look at the DQMJ Event starting very soon!

2023.02.02 23:07 CG_Ops Elden Ring truly demonstrates the idea of "strength in numbers".

Warning, this is a fun, light hearted post. No bunching of underoos allowed. Unless you want to... then bunch away. As I explain below, I've already gotten used to being a punching bag when I step into a gang of adversaries, thinking I'm hot shite.
I'm about 1/2-way through NG+, running a level-275 quality build. Yeah yea... I'm over-leveled, but I only have one functional arm/hand and I like varying my play style between mele, spellcasting, and ICantStandThese incantations. All my stats are pumped up to 35+, aside from Arcane, which is at 12, because... I don't know why or why not. I tend to play games for the story, fun, and scenery rather than the challenge. (Blasphemy in these parts, I know. I'll save you the trouble and beat myself for it later) My highly leveled character, with stout Vit/End/Sta/StInt (at 45+ each), allows me to be nearly equally effective with various weapons - I usually keep one of each in my load out - a pokey/slappy/stabby/crushy weapon, a magic staff/seal, and a bow/crossbow/spear-catapult. This allows for quick adaptation on the fly, without having to pick & choose gear between fights - you get an arrow, you get to see my full moon, you get a laughably large hammer, and you... I got no more weapons, so eat this giant headstone that I call a shield! Anywho, now that I've preemptively addressed some of the inevitable, snarky replies ("yOu'Re oVaRy LeVeLed!1!!" I know! I'm a gimp, I also get over-leveled parking spots, deal with it!), hear me out...
The point, finally:
At this level, most encounters aren't hugely challenging, including Malenia. (We may fight, a couple dozen times, but eventually she gets tired of beating my ass, and that's when I pounce, with my pointy stick.) I slogged through a lot of death to get to this point. But, by the end of my first play through, I was a proper medieval Rambo-HarryPotter-ChuckNorris hybrid. Where I find myself getting absolutely demolished (aside from Tinder), is when I accidentally saunter into the middle of a group of 4+... well, almost anythings. Once there are enemies on all sides, this God-killing, Deity-slaughtering, Dragon-taunting, Big-ass-jar-befriending, goat-horse-riding, once-Elden-Lord-in-a-past-life badass can easily find their body (and ego) cut into bite-sized little pieces.
It happened to me last night, I got careless (a couple times) while testing some new weapon combinations on the Albinaurics, next to the cash cow tumor bird in Mohgwyn Palace. A couple of them don't really pose a threat... but 4-5, on all sides, can turn my once-upon-a-time Elden Lord into El Piñata Lord. This is a dude that kicked Radagon's favorite couch with dirty shoes and lived to tell about it, called foul Malenia's dirty dancing, out-wrastled Hulkfrey, and sprayed Lysol on the Elden Amoeba... all to claim the title of biggest BAMF in the lands between.
This one-man army, armed with magic, muscles, brains, and no fear of death was curb stomped by a bunch of Albinaur-pricks with silly wooden clubs and breath (spit?) so nasty it burns!
Jokes aside, I LOVE this game. And I genuinely enjoy how diverse it is, and how it can make you feel like a badass one moment, then a drooling manchild the next. I just really get a kick out of these types of ego checks. I mean, c'mon, how can one not appreciate the irony of taking down Radagon, Fartysex, Malenia, Godfrey, and the Elden Beast one life, only to be reborn, more powerful, then get deadified by an angry little gang of gen-3 Pinocchio's in the next!? It just makes the videos of "X little guys vs (insert epic boss)" all the more fun to watch.
May your day be guided by grace and your replies be guided by a sense of humor.

2023.02.02 23:06 DAMEK234 [PC] [2000-2010] Puzzle game about flowers

I remember it was probably some kind of matching game where you had to match flowers/maybe petals to form a line (and there also were "black flowers" or something like that and they created different line but i dont know why) I also remember that this game had asian style and the ost was similar to old chill jrpg ost (something like clannad ost ig). I played it probably on MSI M670 with Windows Vista and there is a chance that it was preinstalled or installed during one of uptades.

2023.02.02 23:06 beige-king My dog hates my roommates bf and idk what to do.

So I recently moved in with my friend and I brought my pets which include my dog, cat, and bird. He's an Australian shepherd and Australian cattle dog mix and he's 1 years old and not neutered yet. He has anxiety and is a single person dog, he's very much a momma's boy and loves my attention and being near me but that doesn't stop him from hours of playing with my roommates puppy.
He's fine around women, he doesn't bark at them even if they're new. He's just scared and hangs by me when people come. He's more loud when men come around but he will allow them to pet him if I'm near.
He HATES my roommates boyfriend. Barks when he walks into a room, he's scared of him will run away when he comes into a room. Her boyfriend gives him treats when he's giving the other dog treats, he took him for a walk without me and it went well. But it doesn't stop, when he leaves for a while my dog goes crazy when he comes back. There has been times where her boyfriend has yelled at my dog or charged him and I know thats not appropriate behavior.
Another guy comes in and out of this house a lot and he has no problem with him and enjoys his company when we hang out.
Its not a socializing issue, since I got my dog (he was about 13 weeks old when I got him) I brought him around people, had people come over. He's always been good. He's really only truly afraid he dislikes my old roommate who has been in his life since day 1 and owns his brother, and her boyfriend, and my ex. I don't know if my roommate mistreated him, I know she neglected his needs when I was gone, he'd be locked up for like 16 hours if i worked a double, I'd come home mid shift and let him out and play for and hour but still to be locked up so long. He's got severe separation anxiety. My ex didn't do anything to him, he assaulted me though. My friend's boyfriend hasn't done anything to either of us so I don't know where this behaviors come from.
He's getting neutered on the 6th.

2023.02.02 23:04 martinodegoat41 AITA for refusing to attend my grandpa’s birthday party because of my brother’s ‘flirt’?

I, Marcus, (22) have a brother, Steve,(18).
He has never kissed a girl and hasn’t had any form of physical contact. UNTIL a few weeks ago. He told me there was this girl and I might know her, since the first question she asked was ‘Is Marcus your brother?’ My eyes lit up being so happy for him. I have a tattoo of his birthdate, I try to visit all of his games and we see each other at least 2 times a week, calling each other even more often. I love him with every fiber.
Still, it felt fishy. Turned out, it was the one girl I truly hated in school. We called each other out all the time, used every opportunity to go at each other. I hated her guts, she hated mine. After my finals I said if there’s one person I truly never want to see again, it would be her.
She’s 20 and her last 3 boyfriends were all (ex) academy football players. This is where it gets interesting, because there’s a pattern. My brother truly is one of the greatest footballers I’ve ever witnessed. He’s currently under contract at a Second Divion Team, basically being pro. Also, an ex academy player. Now she dumped her ex a few weeks ago, shortly after she got into talks with my brother. However, whenever I drive to the train, I have to pass by her house. As if I didn’t already know, while she was already talking to my brother, him clearly stating his interest too, her ex’s car was in front of her house. This is when I had enough and told my brother that I want him to be careful with her and I wouldn’t think that she is a good company for such a lovely, unexperienced guy like him. He assured me that she changed, but I couldn’t help but telling him that I spotted her ex’s car yesterday from that day on. On this day they were actually about to meet up afterwards.
Fast forward .. They went to the spa (which he paid), she had a few sleepovers ONLY at his place and he even bought her flowers this week. I would love to think she really changed, if only her ex boyfriend wasn’t at her place AGAIN 3 days ago when I drove to the train station. I was FUMING. I called my brother instantly, telling him she’s with her ex-boyfriend again. He laughed and said that can’t be, because she dumped the guy completely after their recent talk and to prove this SHE WILL ATTEND MY GRANDPA’S birthday party this sunday with my brother. Him obviously agreeing to it and not telling me until now.
As much as I love my brother and my Grandpa, I don’t think i could hold it together if I saw her together with my brother at the birthday party of my Grandpa whilst constantly shagging her ex. I tend to be very direct and short-tempered, so I would never want my whole family to put into a situation like that. Is that selfish, overprotective or do I, as I personally think I do, act completely reasonable?
AITA for telling my brother that if she came, I wouldn’t be there and consequently miss my Grandpa’s 70th birthday celebration?

2023.02.02 23:04 Smolesworthy A Message

All there was mirth and song and dance, because the vintage had been gathered in, and there would be ample syllabub for the winter months, and much left over to exchange for turquoises and emeralds with the merchants who come down from Oxuhahn. Thus they rejoiced all day over their vintage on the narrow strip of cultivated ground that lay between Bethmoora and the desert which meets the sky to the South. And when the heat of the day began to abate, and the sun drew near to the snows on the Hills of Hap, the note of the zootibar still rose clear from the gardens, and the brilliant dresses of the dancers still wound among the flowers.
All that day three men on mules had been noticed crossing the face of the Hills of Hap. Backwards and forwards they moved as the track wound lower and lower, three little specks of black against the snow. They were seen first in the very early morning up near the shoulder of Peol Jagganoth, and seemed to be coming out of Utnar Vehi. All day they came. And in the evening, just before the lights come out and colours change, they appeared before Bethmoora's copper gates. They carried staves, such as messengers bear in those lands, and seemed somberly clad when the dancers all came round them with their green and lilac dresses. Those Europeans who were present and heard the message given were ignorant of the language, and only caught the name of Utnar Vehi. But it was brief, and passed rapidly from mouth to mouth, and almost at once the people burnt their vineyards and began to flee away from Bethmoora, going for the most part northwards, though some went to the East. They ran down out of their fair white houses, and streamed through the copper gate. The three strange travellers went back the way they came the instant their message was given.
It was the hour when a light would have appeared in some high tower, and window after window would have poured into the dusk its lion-frightening light, and the copper gates would have been fastened up. But no lights came out in windows there that night and have not ever since, and those copper gates were left wide and have never shut, and the sound arose of the red fire crackling in the vineyards, and the pattering of feet fleeing softly. There were no cries, no other sounds at all, only the rapid and determined flight. They fled as swiftly and quietly as a herd of wild cattle flee when they suddenly see a man. It was as though something had befallen which had been feared for generations, which could only be escaped by instant flight, which left no time for indecision.
Then fear took the Europeans also, and they too fled. And what the message was I have never heard.
From Bethmoora, by Lord Dunsany.
And tales of other less successful messengers.

2023.02.02 23:03 Parking_Cartoonist90 With the introduction of Kilowattrel, how would you rank the regional Birds (based on your opinion)

Kilowattrel is latest addition to regional birds and hasn’t been getting as much attention as the other superstars of the Paldea region. So how would you rank the regional birds?
My rankings:

9: Noctowl. I don’t hate Noctowl, I’m very neutral towards it. The only notable thing about Noctowl to me is Ash’s Shiny Noctowl

8: Toucannon. This angry Toucan is funny and I enjoy it

7: Pidgeot: It’s the first ever regional bird. Pretty swell

6: Unfeazant. I’m one of the few people who actually likes Unfeazant. (I prefer the female variant)

5: Swellow. The first regional bird that was actually good. Swellow is just cool.

4: Kilowattrel. Swellow, but electric type. Coverage sucks sadly

3: Corviknight. This steel raven is just cool. Nothing more to say

2. Staraptor. Swellow ran so Staraptor could fly

1. Talonflame. The first bird to break the Normal type curse and is just badass

2023.02.02 23:02 Khenal Dungeon Life 89

I don’t know what I was expecting from the fight with Hullbreak, but this awkward standoff wasn’t it. I was expecting to have a big battle under the waves, but my ‘assault’ force is staring at only a fraction of the sharks I was expecting, and those sharks don’t exactly look enthusiastic about a fight right now anyway.
So while everyone underwater is trying to figure out what they should actually be doing, I’m staring at a blob on the map that’s only getting closer and closer to Fourdock. I’m not exactly worried they’ll actually be able to do what Hullbreak was threatening, but I’m not so certain that I can keep him from hurting any of the townsfolk.
Sure, there are a ton of adventurers and such, but there’s also a bunch of just normal people in town, too. I’m pretty sure even a couple gulls wouldn’t be a problem for the average townie, but there’s way more than a couple gulls coming in, not to mention that Scion.
I can’t say for certain what affinity it has just yet, but there’s a lot of storm clouds rolling in with the huge flock of gulls. If he can drop a lightning storm or something on the town… that’d be bad.
The ringing bell seems to be getting people’s attention, at least. Aranya and Yvonne are already out to try to organize the town for… I don’t even know what. Should they evacuate? Where? To me? It’d probably be easier to keep them safe like that, but I don’t know how many people would be willing to do that.
My regular delvers probably would, but a lot of them are the ones I’d need to be least worried about. Even the ones who only run the maze or gather from my nodes still have to do a little bit of fighting. Not enough to fight off a gigantic flock of gulls, but at least enough to fend off a couple, I’d hope.
Ugh, I wish I had more time to organize this whole mess. Leo is still trying to get back, but I don’t know how long it’ll take him, even with the shortcut. Ok, focus. Less wishing, more doing. Larx and the spiderkin triumvirate are on their way to the public war room, guided by Thing and Fluffles, respectively. I’ll just have to hope they can provide the manpower to get the town to do whatever they’re going to do.
Aranya and Yvonne seemed like they’re going to go get Ragnar and Aelara, and then either organize the adventurer’s guild, or get the ODA’s help… or both. That means I need to buy time. And by me, I mean Poe. I don’t want to put this on his shoulders, but he really is the only one I have right now to try to keep that storm at bay.
Perhaps more precisely: in the bay. As long as they’re over the water, they can’t do much damage to the town. Poe’s a smart birb, though, and doesn’t need me to tell him that. He caws as he flies over the town, recalling the various expeditions, and preparing an army of black to face the invaders of white.
The Marshal flies quickly, though not as quickly as he can. Rushing like that is a good way to arrive there without any backup. While he’s a strong scion, he doesn’t want to try to fight off a literal army on his own. While his wind affinity is certainly a boon in the air, he’s starting to suspect this Quartermaster has storm affinity. It’s not exactly a counter to wind, but it would guarantee any fighting will be chaotic and intense.
He caws, loud and clear, to summon any expeditions that are out. While most of the crows and ravens were roosting when this threat was discovered, there are still some out on their various tasks. While Poe doubts a fresh scion could stand up to him, he’s not so arrogant that he’ll bring anything but his best against this foe. The delvers of Fourdock might not be tied to Lord Thedeim like Aranya and Yvonne, but he still doesn’t wish to see them harmed.
The feel of the air changes as he soars over the ocean: a certain saltiness to the breeze now, and weaker thermals. It only takes a small flex of his affinity to maintain his and his army’s speed and altitude, but it is still a bit of effort. It will give the gulls a small advantage, but hopefully nothing significant. He estimates the numbers to be about equal, but he knows he and his birds have a significant edge in experience. They’ve been active in defending Lord Thedeim for almost his entire existence, as well as challenging delvers. These gulls, on the other hand, only have experience in raids, and have not been having a good time of it recently, either.
Poe calls his forces to a halt as they near the army of gulls, and he can see his counterpart among them. The albatross looks to be even slightly larger than Poe, probably following a similar path as Tiny. If so, it will be a tenacious foe, though hopefully not too far along that particular path.
The Marshal resists the urge to embrace his titles just yet, and instead ensures the winds carry his caw, demanding the other scion leave. His crows and ravens echo the challenge with a cacophony of “Run!”, “Flee!”, and “Hide!” The chatter is silenced by the albatross’ reply, carried by thunder. The other scion has no intention of leaving peacefully.
Poe embraces the power of his titles, the Marshal of Murders and Lord of Unkindnesses having no time for niceties in this situation. If this Quartermaster will not leave in peace, he can leave in pieces.
He caws his orders and guides his forces, the otherworldly sound and coordination surprising the opposing scion. To his credit, he doesn’t back down. The gulls shriek their cries and charge the lines. The Quartermaster starts to gather ominous thunderheads, and that will be Poe’s focus for his personal attacks.
The inexperience of the gulls is apparent in the charge, as they don’t keep a coherent line. The leaders are easily picked off by ravens diving, and with them uncoordinated, they can’t press any advantage of mass to push Poe’s forces back. His front lines even let some of the gulls through, to be torn apart by the ravens behind. He loses some corvids, of course, but he’s clearly getting the better of the engagement.
The albatross isn’t being idle, though, and tries to use the thunderheads as siege equipment, trying to blast holes in the shifting tides of the engagement. While some lightning does get through, Poe isn’t exactly sitting idle, either. Blades and spears of wind disrupt the cloud formations, severely weakening the lightning when it’s not outright stopped.
Instead of conceding the fight, though, the Quartermaster tries a new tactic. While smaller thunderheads are easy enough to disrupt, there is still a lot of cloud cover. The albatross shrieks and brings forth rain… starting with a few drops, but it steadily grows, and quickly puts Poe and his forces on the back wing.
The gulls are more used to flying in poor weather, and it’s showing. The chaotic dance of the melee starts to descend into just ordinary chaos. Poe tries to disrupt the clouds, but there’s just too many to disperse with his attacks. He needs to wade in and battle the opposing scion more directly.
He caws his challenge, and the albatross screeches in mocking reply before darting into the clouds. Poe knows he’ll be at a severe disadvantage in the clouds, but he has to do something to try to stop the storm! He pulls several dozen of his crows into the ceiling of clouds with him, using them as extra eyes and ears to track down the Quartermaster.
A bolt of lightning takes one of the crows, but several others spot the enemy’s outline. Poe sends a slash of wind, and is rewarded with a pained squawk from the enemy scion.
Poe can’t tell how long he chases the Quartermaster, but he can feel his crows and ravens regrouping under the clouds, fending off the weakening attacks of the gulls. He also manages to lash out many times at his foe, and seems to hit more often than not.
It’s with surprise that he suddenly bursts from the wall of clouds, into a clear area much colder than the surroundings. In the center is the Quartermaster, looking battered, but also somehow victorious. Poe is confused until he feels dread from his Lord Thedeim, and a strange sort of storm flashes through the bond. Usually found in much warmer climates, it’s a storm that can scour whole islands to bare sand and rock. He doesn’t know exactly how strong this hurricane is, nor how the Quartermaster managed to afford it, but he is pretty sure the storm will hit Fourdock even if Poe kills the albatross.
Poe grits his beak as he prepares to test that theory, before realizing he and the Quartermaster are no longer the only scions in the eye of this storm. Prismatic colors fill the air as Fluffles makes his entrance, the power of Lord Thedeim radiating from the winged serpent.
As soon as he got the three spiderkin leaders to the war room, Fluffles left. The Denmaster wants him to help Poe as soon as he can. He’s a bit nervous about trying to help the more experienced fighter, but he understands Thedeim’s reasoning. Fluffles isn’t exactly a subtle scion in his efforts, but when fighting an army, there’s not a lot of need for subtlety.
Once he gets to the surface, he can see what the Denmaster meant. Even from here, he can hear the sounds of Poe and the enemy scion fighting, their armies cawing and yelling. The huge flocks can even be seen, diving and fighting through thick sheets of rain. He feels a whisper through the bond to go over the low clouds, and to use whatever mana is needed to do so quickly.
If it weren’t for the impending disaster to the town, Fluffles would find the speed invigorating, the mana intoxicating. But the seriousness of the situation makes it difficult to truly revel in the experience. He doesn’t suppress the bit of pride he feels, though, at his effective use of the mana. Proper application and proper form lets him fly faster than he would have thought possible, even forming a subtle cone in front of the flying serpent.
He’s pretty sure it only takes him minutes to get over the battlefield, but it feels like hours. Since he was sent high, he must be after the enemy scion, rather than the birds obscured by the thick cloud cover. He frowns as he spots a hole in the clouds, and soon sees Poe burst into the clearing. At the center, he sees the albatross, looking battered, but not beaten.
Then the Denmaster whispers why. A hurricane. But Fluffles can’t stop something like that, he doesn’t even have wind affinity, let alone storm!
The word is confusing to get in a situation like this. With kinetic as his first affinity, Fluffles understands what it is, but he doesn’t understand how it applies to this situation. There’s nothing moving out here! Just him, Poe, and the enemy scion!
Fluffles flaps his wings a few more times to help stabilize himself from a stray gust, his attention flicking to the slowly-swirling clouds below him. He watches them for a few seconds, the whisper from the Denmaster echoing in his mind soon joined by an odd thing Rocky has said many times: Stuff is made of stuff.
He always found it to be nonsensical, but Thing and Queen always agree with a conspiratorial smile. They could be playing some prank… but what if they’re not. Kinetic affinity is about movement. If the clouds are moving… if the air is moving…
Almost without thinking, Fluffles descends towards the two bird scions. The albatross thinks he’s won, even if Poe kills him. Fluffles doesn’t know if it has enough power to wipe out Fourdock, but it won’t exactly just tickle it. But his epiphany has given him an idea to kill two birds with one stone… or one bird with its own stone.
He fully embraces his Conduit title, and can practically feel the kinetic energy of the storm singing to him. Poe looks in awe, while the Quartermaster simply tries to flee. It takes but a drop of the Denmaster’s mana to rob the enemy bird of the kinetic energy he would use to flee, locking him in place as he unworks the storm.
He pulls the energy from the air and focusses it in front of himself, slowly forming a swirling orb of air. A boom emanates from the orb as he adds more and more energy to it, the air inside passing the speed of sound. As he keeps slowing the storm, he muffles further booms, remembering the words of the Denmaster that escaping sounds are inefficiencies. He draws deeply of the Denmaster’s mana as he works. While moving energy takes much less mana than making it directly, there is still a lot of energy involved. He finally feels the storm reach a tipping point, no longer having the momentum to keep going.
He turns his focus to the enemy scion, the massive albatross somehow having gone even whiter. Fluffles simply hisses at him, no real malice in it, before unleashing the orb’s kinetic energy on the unfortunate scion. The hurricane’s eye blinks, the storm dissipates, and only a puff of feathers remains of the Quartermaster.

Quantum Archaeology: De-extinction ->species resurrection -> individual resurrection

"Dodo De-Extinction: How Scientists Plan to Resurrect an Iconic Species

The dodo's demise was caused by humans. Now scientists think they can bring the bird back. Should they?
📷Jackson RyanFeb. 1, 2023 1:30 p.m. PT10 min read
The wildlife of Mauritius, a tropical island in the Indian Ocean about 500 miles east of Madagascar, couldn't have known that the giant shadows cast across the bay in 1598 would signal doom.
A fleet of Dutch ships had arrived, mirroring the Chicxulub asteroid that had crashed into in the Yucatan peninsula some 66 million years earlier.
That rogue rock ended the reign of the dinosaurs in dramatic fashion. Yet the threat posed to their modern-day relatives -- creatures like the blue pigeon, the scops owl and the broad-billed parrot -- by the Dutch fleet was far more insidious. The latter wasn't an explosive end. It was a slow burn: Sailors who colonized the island destroyed its natural habitat and introduced alien species like rats, pigs and monkeys that could outcompete the island's native residents for resources.
Some species disappeared before anyone even noticed. But the most enduring emblem of the island's extinct species is, without doubt, the dodo, or Raphus cucullatus." >>>More
This bit will make you scream with laugher " We can never perfectly bring back a species that went extinct. It's impossible. " We can both bright it back, and improve it. First the species, then the individual. Philosophy and sci-fi come before the science.

2023.02.02 22:59 Chadyridge Desk Top Repair Suggestions

Desk Top Repair Suggestions
Looking for advice on how to repair this Hooker Floating Desk top. It has been damaged from years of sun and garage storage. Debating painting the top with a faux marble epoxy but we don’t want to hurt the value or it’s original charm. Any other suggestions?

2023.02.02 22:58 tanglekelp What are the most common birds in Utah, Arizona, California and Oregon?

I hope this is allowed here!
I am quite new to birding, currently writing down my life list and I am grieving for all the places I have visited before discovering how cool it is to keep track of what species I see!
One of those places is the US. So what I would like to know, what are the most common birds in the states mentioned in the title? The ones you basically can't miss, like for example for me in the Netherlands it would be jackdaws and house sparrows.
I'm not planning to just write them all down, but I hope looking them up might jog my memory.

2023.02.02 22:55 numberoneburrito Someone with BPD coming in and out of your life quickly

I got really close to a person who is diagnosed with BPD, but they suddenly stopped talking to me. I don't know much about the condition but why might they have done this? Is this an expected pattern of relationships for people with BPD? I left them flowers and a note saying how I feel because I really care, but I don't know if I've overstepped boundaries. Maybe they just need some space, I just hope they come back.

2023.02.02 22:53 Wichiteglega What is the bird that can be heard in the very first seconds of this video (Italian opening of Japanese anime)?

This is the video:
Being an Italian opening, and a pretty old one at that (2004) makes me think that this might be some sort of Italian bird, but I'm far from sure...
Could anyone please shed some light on this?
